So precious yet so delicate are the wings of a butterfly and when touched it can break and never fly again. So the butterfly wings remind us of abused children who are as delicate as butterfly wings and are as easily broken.

This handcrafted sterling silver sculpted hammered butterfly wing pendant which is the symbol for Child Abuse Survivors' reminds us also of the broken battered mended hearts that are left behind,  hence the copper wire wrap. A sparkly black Swarovski Crystal Teardrop crystal reminds us of the many tears cried in hopelessness, despair, and depression. The handmade meaningful pendant hangs from a leather necklace with sterling silver crimped lobster clasp closure.
